Co-produced by Lamprophonic and Summer on the HudsonAmpLit Fest is a free, daylong festival that brings authors of all backgrounds, styles, and levels of recognition to center stage.

With readingsworkshopspanels, and a community market, AmpLit Fest makes one of life’s most solitary acts — writing — a public celebration.

The 2018 AmpLit Fest will take place on Saturday, June 9th, from 12 to 5:15 pm.

For more information on all our events, please visit our programming page.

Where is AmpLit Fest?

AmpLit Fest is held on Pier i, the W 70th Street Pier in Riverside Park South. It’s easiest to enter the park at W 68th St. and Riverside Blvd. The closest subways are the 1 (take to 66th St.) or the 2/3 (take to 72nd St.). Note, if you’re taking the subway, there will still be a 5-10 minute walk from the train. The closest bus stop is the M72 bus stop at W 69th St. and Riverside Blvd.  Once you reach W 68th St. and Riverside Blvd., walk down the ramp at the righthand side and at the bottom of the hill cross the bike path

Check out Summer on the Hudson for a host of events along the pier all summer long, and be sure to stop by Pier i Cafe for food, drinks, great people- and sunset-watching!
